= Lancia 037 Gallery =

Here are the best pictures i've taken with the Lancia Rally 037. I only have the one car with the martini livery, however the car was also produced with 2 other paint schemes. Both are quite expensive (one is like £100+ lol) so i doubt i'll get them any time soon.
I've edited quite a few of these photos, most of them just cropping. Probably don't look very good but I included them anyways :)

Clicking the pics will open up a higher quality image in a new tab

I think the Lancia 037 was the first "rally car" hotwheels I bought. Its always been a favourite of mine and a close second to the Metro 6r4. Its made of metal too unlike alot of other cars that are plastic. Probably helps a little with staying still in wind or something o.O
Sometimes I have to tell myself to "look up" and just enjoy the walk instead of looking at the ground for spots to take pictures XD. Here is the uncropped version of this image. Think the flowers were wild garlic, been to that forest a few times and its always nice :D
I like to imagine the cars jumping through the gaps in pics like this one. Reminds me a little of a hotwheels game for the nintendo DS that I played growing up. Really liked that game. The DS was peak.
Annoyingly, quite a few photos I took were weirdly framed like this one. I've done my best to edit and crop some of them, but others I kept normal like this one as cropping them isnt really viable and I like them regardless :P
Safari rally wildlife :D
My dad spotted this beetle crossing as we were walking, and so I took as many photos as I could. These two were the best of the bunch. Little things like that beatle make taking these photos so fun :D. Doesn't need to be a beatle, just can be a cool bit of metal or rock in a cool place. Honestly now that I think about it, its just as much about the exploration and discovery as taking a cool photo for me.

Okay you can skip ahead now, I wanted to make this text box long because the previous beetle picture was square and I want to know if adding a bunch of text will make this "non-square" gallery picture look right. How was your day? Hope it was good :D. If it wasn't good, here is a cool video i've watched many times before
Remember being really happy with this picture. Still am :)
Took this photo at Muncaster Castle. Returned a year later with the Quattro.
Moss is cool... as is the rear end of an 037 :P
Took these photos on the way back to Ravenglass from Muncaster
Bike tracks are good for rallies :P
I like how the car is glowing in this pic. The white fluffy stuff was cool too
First rule of walks in the UK, there is and always be will be some mud you have to dodge at some point on the walk
I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere. Also it sucks for traction.
I need to take more simple pictures like this one nowadays.
"woah wtf this pic is so cool how did I forget this?" - me looking at this pic
Another one I forgot about. Really like this one too, dunno how I forgot xD
I cropped this picture quite alot. Here is the uncropped version
These next few pictures are quite heavily edited relative to the other photos. I was really happy with the original pictures, the only problem was the quality of. All of the good pictures were either blurry, overexposed or just low quality from zooming in to get the right angle. I REALLY wanted to show these pictures as I still really like them, so I've tried my best to atleast make them a bit more "interesting" by adding some effects and stuff. I use paint.net because its free and you can get addons. Somewhere along the way I ended up with a "film" effect so I used that on the photos. Aswell as that I just upped the saturation/constrast on some of them.
Happy with this first picture. I "drove" the car along the sand a little bit before the shot and I really liked how it turned out with the tracks of the wheels behind the car. Also the sand on the bumper was a cool touch :P
Sandstone caves are good for rallies :P
The location was a man-made cave in the sandstone next to a river. Can't remember where it was but I really wanna go back to get some more pictures.
This was pretty much the only picture from in the cave that was good quality. Thus it can shine in all its unedited glory :D
There is another version of this picture where it is not as exposed. Could never decide which version to use xD
The last picture I took near the caves.
Woe, lancia be upon ye.
Found some rusty minecart rails on the same walk as the sandstone cave pics from earlier. Unfortunately the curse of blurry and terrible pictures continued x_x
Like the colours in this pic
Logs + Waterfalls = good pictures :D
Recce
How'd that get there?
This pic is a combination of two pictures where different stuff was in focus. The editing is a bit sloppy in places but i'm still happy with how it turned out :)
I took these photos partways up waterfall/river where nobody was about. There were a couple downed trees that made for good photo opportunities.
Caution: Water splash
W O O D
Paths around lakes are good for rallies :P
Lighting was quite fitting, took this photo right as my phone died iirc
Another edited combo picture. Makes the car seem way bigger than it really is xD
Waterfalls are peak rally backdrop material
